Islamic Geometry Workshops @ SOAS

In these new weekday evening workshops, you will learn to construct an Islamic Geometric pattern. Starting with a plain piece of paper, step by step we will draw layers of lines and circles using a compass and straight edge. From this underlying grid a pattern will emerge. We will outline, trace and transfer the pattern to watercolour paper, to be decorated using watercolour pencils & paints. 

 

All are welcome, no experience is needed and all resources & materials are provided. Limited spaces so please book your place in advance using the paypal button.  Any problems feel free to contact me

All bookings receive a confirmation by email when a booking is made and a follow on email with further details & PDF handout in advance of the class. Please be sure to check your paypal account email address junk mail or spam folder.

​CANCELLATION POLICY:

If more than 14 days in advance of the workshop: A full refund or transfer to an equivalent workshop on an alternative date.

If 7 to 14 days in advance of the workshop: I can transfer your place to an equivalent workshop on an alternative date.

Less than 7 days in advance of the workshop:  I’m afraid I am unable to offer a refund nor transfer to an equivalent workshop on an alternative date.  I appreciate that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may mean that you can’t attend, so please do consider sending along a friend to take your place. All I I would need is their name and email prior to the workshop.
